Wow, delicious! I had some sour cream I needed to use up and searched for a chocolate cupcake recipe including it. I ended up decorating these with my own concoction of a berry frosting (pureed berries with frosting) and Valentines candies. Turned out great! Thanks for sharing.

That is one glorious apple pie. The glaze pushes it over the top. My fave photo is of the whole thing! So good!

fact: apple pie is my favorite dessert. the end. i've eaten more slabs of it than anything else, but i've never had one with a vanilla glaze. clearly, this needs to be remedied, and soon. awesome, awesome creation!

I'll have the sunny Abbykins pie with crumb topping please! My hunch is she won't go for the vanilla glaze - too drippy for her beatiful sleek fur.
Is it alright to make this dish to serve with an airedale terrier? Might add a little bite to the flavor of the meal.
Either way, the recipe looks great, and perfect timing for this time of year.

Thanks, I love shopping for different plates, bowls, etc. A lot of times I'll check the second hand store or flea markets. Most often if we go to a specialty store, I'll come home with a dish as a souvenir. I now have a collection of single dishes. =) I'm just quirky like that! These are sooooo good! I am so glad you posted this receipe since I missed this issue of Clean Eating (love this magazine.) I made these for my mom's birthday. She is dieting and I have been eating clean. They were a real treat! Everyone, including my husband (who refuses to eat healthy) loved them. I made them using the original receipe with the Sucanat. Mine took the full 45 minutes to cook.
